主要从事干细胞和功能基因组学研究,致力于研究干细胞的增殖和分化机制,并探索其在细胞治疗和癌症治疗中的应用。在Cell、Nature、Mol Cell、Genes Dev、Nat Struct Biol、Cell Death Dis、Nucleic Acids Res、eBioMedicine Cell Proliferation 等重要学术期刊上发表了论文多篇,SCI引用次数超过了3000次。先后主持中国国家自然基金3项、美国白血病和淋巴癌协会科研基金和香港大学教育资助委员会杰出青年学者计划基金各1项。担任Stem Cells, Nanoscale, Journal of Genetics and Genomic 等国际学术期刊审稿人。
