Mong-Hong Lee, Ph.D. National Distinguished Experts of China, is currently the executive director and professor at the Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU) Research Institute of Gastroenterology (RIG). Prof. Lee was a professor of Department of Molecular and Cellular Oncology at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and had served as Principal Investigator on numerous peer reviewed grants including NIH/NCI, Department of Defense, Komen Foundation. With research interests on tumor biology and biomarker identification, Prof. Lee has published over 92 peer reviewed articles in high-impact scientific journals, including Cell, Cancer Cell, JCI, Gene & Dev. Nature Communication and PNAS. In addition, he is a reviewer of over 27 scientific journals including Nature Review of Cancer, JCI, JNCI.
